Marriage and relationships in general, can be hard to figure out. We are all raised to believe different things and we all receive a different set of values from our parents as we grow into mature adults. Over the course of our journey we keep what we believe in and we discard what we don't. The encounters we have with others throughout our life also influences who we are in our intimate relationships. Ultimately, in the end we are all social beings longing for love and a deep meaningful connection with someone significant and when those relationships begin to falter we may begin to struggle.
We work with couples who are:
Feeling disconnected and would like to re-establish or increase the intimacy in their relationship
Needing a marriage tune-up in the area of conflict resolution and communication
Experiencing trouble in their marriage for the first time after the arrival of their new baby
Looking for additional support and guidance as they prepare for marriage
Coping with infidelity and they are having trouble taking the next step
Ready to throw in the towel and are considering ending their marriage
We work with families that are:
Overwhelmed and frazzled by all of their commitments which causes stress and resentment in their relationships
Recently broken apart and distressed by a recent separation or divorce
Experiencing increased levels of conflict as a result of their adolescent's new found "independence"
Disappointed because their newly married families aren't coming together as the parents had expected or dreamed of
Having trouble adjusting after a recent relocation or perhaps they are anxious about an impending move
